Community leadership is strongest when organizations and jurisdictions come together around a shared purpose.
Agnes Fray, Broker/Owner of Intermix Real Estate and a member of the City of Orlando Mayor’s Advisory Council, joined fellow council members, veteran advocates, and leadership from Orange County during Orlando’s POW/MIA remembrance event.
The event represented something particularly meaningful: collaboration.
Representatives from across the community came together not because of a business transaction or political boundary, but because honoring those who served—and remembering those who never returned home—is a responsibility shared by all of us.
Through her work with the City of Orlando Mayor’s Advisory Council and other veteran-focused organizations throughout Central Florida, Agnes continues to advocate for greater connection between veterans, businesses, government agencies, and the communities they serve.
“Some issues are bigger than any one organization. When City leaders, County leaders, veterans, businesses, and community advocates are standing in the same room for the same mission, that is when meaningful community work happens.”
The POW/MIA event provided an opportunity to recognize former prisoners of war, remember those still missing in action, support their families, and reaffirm a promise that has endured for generations:
You Are Not Forgotten.
For Intermix Real Estate, involvement in Central Florida goes beyond helping people buy and sell property. It means understanding the community, participating in its leadership, and investing time in the people who make Central Florida home.
